Advancing AI Learning

We advance the use of AI by focusing on what AI does not do — critical thinking. In order to think critically about AI we must focus on how we evaluate AI outputs.

Critical Evaluation was founded by Harry Philip. Harry is a former Physics Major who has spent 13+ years working at the intersection of marketing and technology. For the last 9 years, Harry has worked at Amazon, helping to grow Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials. Most recently, Harry was the Head of Amazon Private Brands Detail Page, responsible for Images, Titles, and Bullet Points for Amazon Essentials and Amazon Basics globally. In this role, Harry focused on transforming a highly manual resource intensive process to an Agentic one. This gave Harry hands-on experience developing AI solutions in complex spaces where hallucinations and errors carried true risk.

Harry comes from a family of teachers and has a passion for teaching others topics that are walled off as being only for “technical people”. He did this as a TA in college, teaching SQL for marketers at Amazon, and leading his organization on an AI transformation at Amazon.
